Mashmellow is a Moscow-based indie-pop duo. Band-members Masha and Egor decided to make music together because they shared a mutual love of early 90’s dream-pop. Phantom Handshakes takes so many of the things I like in music (emotive vocals, reverb, poppy jangly hooks, atmospheric synths) and combines them seamlessly into some of my favorite music released in the last couple of years. Reminiscent of The Radio Dept's Pet Grief, one of my all-time favorite albums.
